Earth Day Festival moved to September

February 26, 2021

The Macon-Bibb County Green Team is rescheduling its annual “Earth Day Festival” to September 22, 2021 in Tattnall Square Park from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. (It was originally slated to take place in April.) The Festival is being rescheduled due to an abundance of caution regarding COVID-19 and to help slow its spread.

“While there are many preventative measures we could take, our Festival brings people close together through a variety of hands-on and other educational activities,” says Lacey Resch, Co-Chair of the Green Team. “Wear your masks and get your vaccine to take care of the people around you, and then we can safely bring you a Festival that teaches how you can take care of the world around you.”
