The Macon-Bibb County Board of Elections opened its new satellite office and early voting location for the 2016 Party Primary and Nonpartisan General Election. The entrance to newest location is on the Plum Street side of the Historic Macon Terminal Station in Downtown Macon (200 Cherry Street). “We hope by offering a second early voting location wait times will be reduced,” says Elections Supervisor Jeanetta Watson. “By having it here at the Terminal Station at the center of our public transit system, we’re hoping to increase voter turnout. This will be easy for the entire community to get to.”
