Advanced voting for the May 24 Primary Election begins Monday, May 2. The Board of Elections (2525 Pio Nono Avenue) and the Elaine H. Lucas Senior Center (132 Willie Smokie Glover Drive) will both be open as early voting locations. From May 2 through May 20, The Board of Elections and the Senior Center will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for people to come and cast their ballot ahead of the general election. There will also be two opportunities to vote early on a Saturday. Those are May 7 and May 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at both locations. There will be one early voting day on Sunday, May 15 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
