The Macon-Bibb E911 Department is gathering items for the Warming Center. The team dropped off their first round this week. it included toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, menstrual supplies, and more.

E911 Director Shandel Graham says those who participated were eager to give, and felt a sense of pride in doing so.

“We connect with the community in their times of crisis, and it’s our job to keep them calm and safe. We wanted to continue that mission by pitching in to help those staying at the Brookdale Warming Center.” says E911 Director Shandel Graham. “I’m proud of the work this team does every day over the phone, and now I’m even prouder that we can be a part of helping those in need through these donations.”
