The concession stand at Amerson River Park is now offering sweet treats for dogs visiting the park. The stand will offer different flavors, beginning with Peanut Butter Delight.
You can get the treats Friday – Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and for a limited time, your dog can try a treat for free.
Good Boy Goodies makes fresh dog treats and sells their products online and at different pop-up stands.
ArrKeicha Danzie is the owner of Good Boy Goodies, which first opened up in 2019 after finding ways to make treats for her dog, Chub, that were good for him and good to him.
“All of our treats are all natural, made with human grade ingredients. Free of corn, wheat, soy, and preservatives,” said Danzie. “We’re excited get these treats out into the community and visitors at Amerson.”
The Office of Small Business Affairs (OSBA) bought some treats from Good Boy Goodies to give out samples at the park to visitors for free. If visitors want to buy a bag of treats from Good Boy Goodies, they’ll receive a 25% discount.
“We want to do the best to support small businesses, as well as give this option to park goers,” said OSBA Director Charise Stephens.
Good Boy Goodies will be operating along with George’s Snack Shack at the stand, which opened a few weeks ago as part of the OSBA’s Small Business incubator project. Its goal is help businesses market their products.
