Commissioner Elaine Lucas will hold a District 3 Town Hall forum on Thursday, April 20, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Stubbs Chapel Baptist Church (2230 Barnes Ferry Road). The public is invited and encouraged to attend the meeting to learn more about the work of the Macon-Bibb County consolidated government, and to ask questions and express concerns.

“I want to keep having these forums as a way to make sure people know what we’re doing in District 3 and around all of Macon-Bibb to improve our quality of life,” says Commissioner Lucas. This will be the third Forum Mrs. Lucas has held since January 2017. “As we continue in our second term, we need to hear from people. We need to know that what we’re doing is what they want us to do.”

Since Macon-Bibb County was created in January 2014, Commissioners have continued to hold public meetings to provide updates on the consolidated government, answer questions, hear concerns, and help solve any issues they may have in their neighborhood.
