On Wednesday, April 26, Mayor Lester Miller proclaimed the week of April 23- 29, 2023 as Crime Victims’ Week in Macon-Bibb County. Mayor Miller read the proclamation during One Safe Place Macon’s Crime Victims Celebration at City Hall.

Dozens of local and state leaders participated in the ceremony where it was announced that One Safe Place Macon would be opening a Family Justice Center dedicated to creating a hub for crime victims to get the services they need in one place.
