Mark your calendars! Macon-Bibb County is kicking off the holiday season with two festive Christmas parades that promise fun for families across our community.

The celebrations begin on Saturday, December 6 at 2:00 p.m. with the Lizella Christmas Parade, rolling down Hwy 80/Eisenhower Parkway. This neighborhood tradition brings together local groups, decorated floats, and plenty of holiday cheer.

The next day, the magic continues downtown with the Macon-Bibb Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 7 at 4:00 p.m.. The parade will march along Cherry Street, following the same route as last year, and will feature community organizations, marching bands, performers, and a special visit from Santa.

Both events are free and open to the public, offering residents a joyful way to come together and celebrate the season. Bundle up, bring the family, and join us for two of Macon-Bibb’s favorite holiday traditions!
