On Friday, April 22, District 9 Commissioner Al Tillman and Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) held a Senior Pampering Day. Ten “Queen-agers” arrive were given pedicures by CGTC students in the inclusive cosmetology program.
“We wanted to do something different for a group of seniors in town, to make them feel special and show them they’re appreciated,” says Commissioner Tillman. “We’re proud to partner with the students at the Cosmetology School at CGTC.”
After the pedicures, the seniors were taken to Mother’s Breakfast & BBQ for lunch. Partners who made this day possible included Commissioner Al Tillman, Walmart, Supporting People in Need (SPIN), and Central Georgia Technical College.
