Mayor Lester Miller officially proclaimed Sunday, November 6, as Retired Educators Day in Macon-Bibb County. Several retired educators attended the Commission meeting on November 1. You can watch it here.
There are more than 141,000 retired educators in Georgia, more than 32,000 of whom are members of the Georgia Retired Educators Association.
