As part of our Macon Mental Health Matters initiative, there are upcoming classes where you can learn about canning and preserving food while focusing on your mental health.

Claire Cox will teach the hands-on course where attendees will learn about canning fruits and vegetables. You’ll get to keep everything you create, and you’ll be able to discuss mental health at the same time. The goal is to teach sustainability and reinforce the important of taking care of your mental health.

There are only 8 spots available for each of the classes. If you’d like to attend, visit www.MaconMentalHealthMatters.com or click here. (will link to the site)
