Hometown hero and Atlanta Falcons superstar Bud Dupree returned to where it all started to host our Recreation Department’s first ever Linebacker and Lineman Skills and Drills Camp on Sunday, July 9. More than 50 teenagers ages 13-17 joined the camp to learn from the football professional.

“It was an amazing opportunity for these kids,” said Athletics Coordinator Chris Austin. “With the size of the camp, Bud was able to have one-on-one time with each participant and teach them individually. The parents and kids were so excited and even got a little competitive.”

The camp was free and open to all teens. They received a free t-shirt and photo opportunity with each participant. There is already talk about making this camp an annual event. Click here to see more pictures.
