Macon-Bibb is getting its first-ever brewpubs (Piedmont Brewing and Ocmulgee Brewpub), and the Commission updates its Code of Ordinances so they could operate. Details on licensing and fees can be found be by clicking here (licensing) and  here (fees).

“Part of revitalizing Downtown Macon-Bibb is to make it easier for new businesses to open and thrive,” says Mayor Robert Reichert. “With the national trend of people looking for ways to enjoy locally made craft beer and the success of the our first local brewery, the Macon Beer Company, it’s only natural that we make sure businesses like Piedmont Brewing and Ocmulgee Brewpub have a place in our community.”
