Time for your tots to tee up! Historic Bowden Golf Course, along with the PGA Junior League, is offering a FREE golf camp for kids. There will be an orientation at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27, at Bowden (3111 Millerfield Road). The program is open to all children in elementary and middle school students in Macon-Bibb County, and there is no cost to participate. All equipment will be provided during the classes. Teaching is tailored to each child’s skill and age, and they’ll learn more than just the basics of the game.

“We are so excited to offer these free golf classes to our kids through PGA Junior League,” says Golf Pro Jack Dean. “They are giving scholarships away left and right for golfers and this is a great way to get your kids started. Golf doesn’t just offer physical exercise, it also teaches math, social skills, integrity, and of course…fun!”
