The Board of Elections Office (BOE) has officially transferred services to its new location at the Macon Mall (3661 Eisenhower Pkwy, MB101), on the lower floor of the former Sears building.
Although the new office is still undergoing some finishing touches and not entirely completed, people can still go to the new location for any voter and elections assistance. The BOE is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. The location at 2525 Pio Nono Avenue is now closed to the public.
“We are so excited that we are nearing the completion of our new space,” says BOE Elections Supervisor Tom Gillon. “This relocation is not only great for our staff as we have more room, but even better for voters who no longer have to wait outside in the heat, rain, or cold.”
The office’s number remains the same at (478) 621-6622.
A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held to celebrate the official opening later this summer.
