Another corner park that will get some TLC, is Bernd Park. You may not know its name, but you’ve probably driven by it a time or two. Located at the corner of Magnolia and Spring, this triangular piece of land is a small spot for people to pause and relax. Now, thanks to $66,650 in penny tax dollars, visitors will soon be able to enjoy it a little more. Crews plan to replace the curbs, and include four ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant handicap ramps. They’re also going to spruce up the greenery with new soil and sod. You can read the full scope of work for Bernd Park here.
