There are several proposed changes to Macon-Bibb County’s Alcohol Code, and you’re invited to a public hearing to learn more and ask questions. Some of the changes would include fee increases for applications and licenses, waiving those fees for certain events and occasions, modifying codes to be up to date with Georgia laws and codes, allowing for alcohol sales at Bowden Golf Course, safety measures, and more. The public hearing is at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13 in Commission Chambers at Government Center (700 Poplar Street).
