From Omega Construction – Omega Construction joined project partners and community leaders on Thursday, March 26, to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new warehouse and distribution center for Bob’s Discount Furniture at 4521 Cavalier Drive in Macon, Georgia. The approximately 801,000-square-foot facility will serve as a major logistics hub supporting the retailer’s continued growth across the Southeast.

The project includes the construction of a single, state-of-the-art distribution facility designed to enhance distribution capabilities while strengthening the region’s logistics infrastructure. Delivered through a design-build approach, the project team will work in close collaboration to maximize efficiency, innovation and quality throughout the construction process.

The development is being led by Onyx Partners, with Omega Construction serving as the Design-Build General Contractor in partnership with Falcon Design Consultants, Atlas Collaborative and HGA. Together, the team brings deep expertise in industrial development, engineering and architecture to deliver the large-scale facility.
