“I’m so grateful to have been recognized in front of some of the most powerful women in Communications,” Public Relations Specialist Edna Adams said of being recognized March 12 as a Rising Star by PRDaily. “The energy in the room was truly inspiring, and it was an amazing way to celebrate Women’s History Month!”

In December, Edna Adams learned she was named a Rising Star in PR Daily’s Top Women in Communications awards program, giving her the chance to be recognized publicly and network with female communicators, many from large national and international companies.

“Edna is helping lead a change in local government communications, one that uses creativity and new ideas to tell our community’s story so that it stands out among all the other news and information we’re getting every day,” says Chief Communications Officer Chris Floore. “I’m so proud of the work she does and the passion she brings to storytelling and to our community.”
