The Frank Johnson Recreation Center needs your help to make a difference in our community for the holidays. The Center is collecting food items for its annual food drive now until December 15.

You can bring non-perishable items, with a special emphasis on dry goods, such as macaroni, spaghetti, etc. Donations can be dropped off at the Center at 2227 Mercer University Drive Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The Center will donate the food to Loaves and Fishes and Depaul USA Daybreak.

“We chose these organizations because of their on-going need for food items coupled with their specialty in community outreach,” said Miranda Brooks with Frank Johnson Recreation Center.
