Celebrating black businesses

August is Black Business Month in Macon-Bibb County and across the nation. On Tuesday, during the Commission meeting, Mayor Lester Miller presented a proclamation declaring the month. 

The County recognizes the work of the Macon-Bibb Office of Small Business Affairs with its many partners like the Macon-Middle Georgia Black Pages, Central Georgia Coalition of Black Businesses, SBDC, NewTown Macon and others, are working together to bring initiatives and resources to support black owned businesses.
