On Thursday, October 12, Macon-Bibb County will be celebrating Wellness Day throughout the day. Wellness Day is presented by our Human Resources Department and will consist of healthy activities for County staff all day including running, walking, pickleball, golf, biking, and more.

Since County staff is required to participate, government offices will be closed, excluding the Tax Commissioner’s Office, Solid Waste Department, E-911, and other emergency services.

Trash services will not be disrupted and convenience centers at 11th Street and Fulton Mill Road will also operate as usual.
