Do you love downtown Macon? Are you ready to share the hype?  

Join the downtown Macon Hype Team! The Downtown Macon Hype Team is composed of community members who share a passion for the progress happening in downtown and a desire to promote it. Hype Team members serve as ambassadors during large events held in downtown Macon. They work as a united front to welcome visitors downtown, answer any questions visitors may have, and encourage people to use #downtownmacon when posting about their positive experience downtown.  

Hype Team members are required to attend a 3-hour orientation and training session. During the orientation, team members will complete Visit Macon’s hospitality training program and become “I am Macon” certified.  

 Orientations are scheduled to take place at the following dates and times:  

Saturday, April 1 from 9am to 12pm 
Thursday, April 27 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm
