This week, we’re shining our Staff Spotlight on someone who continues to show support throughout her community and is being recognized for it.

Municipal Court Judge Crystal Jones has been selected as Chair for the Middle Georgia State University (MGA) Trustee Development Committee of the Trustee Board. She has also been added to the Teacher Education and Social Work Wall of Fame at the University. On top of this, Jones has been asked to serve on a Pre-Law panel for Mercer University.

“I was in shock when I was given the news because I typically like to fly under the radar, but this is truly an honor,” said Jones. “It means a lot to be recognized. I’m so thankful.”

Jones is a graduate of MGA. She later went on to earn a law degree from Mercer University’s School of Law. After working in private practice, she joined the Macon-Bibb County Attorney’s Office, eventually becoming senior assistant county attorney. In 2019, she was appointed Municipal Court Judge.

We are so proud of all your hard work and dedication to our community, Judge Jones! Thanks for being a vital part of #TeamMaconBibb.
