This week, Mayor Lester Miller, along with Bibb County School Board members, joined students and their families at L.H. Williams Elementary School to celebrate Family Engagement Day.

Mayor Miller presented a proclamation to the school on Wednesday, November 17. It recognizes that engagement in education takes place at school and home by working closely with schools and students’ teachers. This day is an opportunity for parents and family members to gain awareness of their child’s classroom experience from Pre-K and beyond.
