Tommy’s Express Car Wash and Boss Ryderz are teaming up to raise money and collect donations for the Brookdale Resource Center. On Saturday, August 21 from noon until 4 p.m. you can head to Tommy’s Express Car Wash (2772 Riverside Drive) to be part of a great cause. 

Boss Ryderz, a local car club, is known for raising money and donating to several causes across Middle Georgia. Club members are bringing their energy and generosity to Tommy’s, who has agreed to donate 10% of all sales at the car wash Saturday to Brookdale.  

“Tommy’s Express is always looking to give back to our local community through animal shelters, schools, and non-profits. This month we had the opportunity to partner with the Boss Ryderz, and we couldn’t be more excited about the event and supporting the local community,” said Tommy’s owner, Nicole Evans.

“We hate seeing people struggle, so we give back and it makes us feel very good,” said Boss Ryderz Secretary Shamiyah Childs. “This is a great opportunity for everyone to help so many people in need at the Center.”  

Boss Ryderz will have a tent at the car wash to collect items to donate to the Center. You can donate  new pillows, twin or full sheets, twin or full blankets, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, full body towels, adult diapers, children diapers (6 months and up), baby wipes, fingernail clippers, combs and hair brushes, toilet paper, ground coffee, individually wrapped snacks, Visa gift cards, trash bags, disposable masks, disposable gloves, disinfectant spray, Tylenol: adult and children, Ibuprofen: adult and children, Aspirin: adult and children, Tums, allergy relief: adult and children, antiacid relief, Band-aids,  alcohol swab pads, new underwear, basic t-shirts, casual pants and jeans, shorts, belts, tennis shoes, shower shoes, and flip flops.
