Macon-Bibb County and Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful (KMBB) recently challenged all neighborhoods, businesses, organizations, and schools to participate in a community-wide cleanup day on April 10, 2021, Since then more than two dozen groups and neighborhoods have signed up to participate.
“It’s amazing what people will do if they believe they’re part of something larger, and this early level of participating makes me proud of our community,” says Mayor Lester Miller. “April 10 will be another great day in Macon-Bibb because of the work we’re going to do to show everyone we know and believe clean streets matter.”
“The outpouring of interest in being a part of this effort makes me so proud of our community, and I know each person participating will make a huge difference in keeping our streets clean,” says KMBB Executive Director Caroline Childs.
