Government hours, trash collection changes for 2020 Labor Day

September 4, 2020

Published by eruiz

Labor Day is Monday, September 7, 2020. Government Offices and Courts will be closed, but emergency services will remain active. That includes E911, the Sheriff’s Office, the Fire Department, and the Emergency Management Agency.

Trash collection and Solid Waste hours will shift slightly. The landfill will be open Tuesday through Thursday next week, (Sept. 8 – Sept. 10) and bulk and yard waste collection will happen Tuesday through Friday. Advanced Disposal Services will pick up trash and recycling carts Tuesday through Saturday. So if your typical pickup day is Monday, then your carts will be emptied Tuesday and so on.

We wish you and your family a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend!
