On Thursday, August 6 at 10:00 a.m., District 6 Commissioner Joe Allen and representatives from the Facilities Management and Engineering Departments unveiled the new “Beautiful Tobesofkee Parkway.” It’s at the intersection of Highway 74 and Northwest Point Drive near the Macon-Bibb and Monroe County border. The other sign is located on Mercer University Drive near I-475.

“Lake Tobesofkee is one of the jewels in our county and in Middle Georgia, and these new signs will help make sure people know it’s there,” says Commissioner Allen. “From camping to the beaches to boating to the water park…and more…there’s something for everyone at our lake.”
