Government Offices closed July 3

Macon-Bibb Commissioners voted to give employees a paid day off on July 3, 2020, to observe the July 4 holiday, which is on a Saturday this year. All Government Offices and Courts will be closed that Friday. Fire, Sheriff, E911, and the Emergency Management Agency services will remain operational.
The Solid Waste and Recycling pickup schedule will not change. Advanced Disposal will still pick up all carts that week Monday – Friday. Macon-Bibb crews will pick yard waste and debris as part of its usual 4-day work week from Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2.
