As part of National Police Week, the Macon-Bibb County Law Enforcement Foundation will hold the annual Peace Officers Memorial Day program. This year, it will take place Friday, May 17, 2019, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Mulberry and Second Streets in Public Safety Park.
During the Ceremony, all the names of our Public Safety Officers who lost their lives in the Line of Duty will be read, and an Honor Guard will place a rose at the base of the monument for each name read. The ceremony will be streamed live on the Macon-Bibb County Facebook page.
