In observance of Thanksgiving, Macon-Bibb County consolidated government offices will be closed on Thursday, November 23, and Friday, November 24. 2018. All emergency services will be operational.
Waste collection will only be delayed one day. Garbage and recycling collection will run Monday through Wednesday, then Friday and Saturday. Yard waste and bulk waste collection will be picking up those on the Week 1 schedule, and they’ll be making the rounds Monday through Wednesday, and Friday.
