Macon-Bibb County Government offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday, December 25 & 26 and January 1 & 2, for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. All emergency services will be maintained throughout the holidays.

The Macon-Bibb Committee and Commission meetings scheduled for December 26 and January 2 have been cancelled due to the holidays.

Garbage, recycling, and yard waste collections will run one day delayed both weeks, Tuesday through Saturday. If your collection is normally Monday, it will be on Tuesday; if it’s normally on Friday, it will be on Saturday.

Debris Collection for waste left from Tropical Storm Irma will stop from December 23rd – December 26th, and will resume December 27th.
