Macon-Bibb History has a lot of deep musical roots. To honor those roots, and share the memories with everyone who walks our streets, three plaques are going up to recognize 3 major musical moments in our history.

The first three in the ‘Historic Macon Music Registry’ will be installed at the Macon City Auditorium, the Douglass Theatre, and Third Street Park. You can read more on each location, by clicking here.  The Historic Macon Foundation, Rock Candy Tours, NewTown Macon, and Charles Cox Family Trust (through the Community Foundation of Central Georgia) are putting the plaques up.
