Justice Department grants to help improve public safety

Several Macon-Bibb agencies are getting grant funds to help improve public safety and support in various ways. The United States Justice Department has awarded $87,471 to the Bibb Sheriff’s Office, the Drug Court, the Public Defender’s Office, and the Superior Court.  For a breakdown on how the money will be allocated and what it will go towards, click here.
