The Macon-Bibb Commission approved funding the ‘Operation Cease Fire Midnight Basketball League’ in order to provide an engaging and fun activity for people at a time when crime tends to happen. Those involved will have to take part in a life skills course, and those in charge hope if will promote health, safety, morals, and welfare in the citizens of Macon-Bibb County. This money will fund coaches, coordinators, uniforms, equipment and more.

Registration for the League begins February 1, with enrichment sessions starting February 24 and the season kicking off February 27. For more information about the League, contact
