The Macon-Bibb County SPLOST Advisory Committee met on Monday, October 19, to review the September financial statement, hear a report from the SPLOST Project Manager, and learn about the new SPLOST website developed by the Office of Public Affairs. Of particular interest to the Committee was the beginning of several recreation projects, including East Macon Park, Filmore Thomas Park, and the Senior Citizens Center.

A new website that will serve as a central source of information for all things related to the SPLOST was launched this week, and it includes a map of the projects, news and updates, action taken by the Commission, feature videos, pictures, and financial statements.
