Macon-Bibb County offices will be closed Monday, September 2, 2019 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. All government offices will be closed, with the exception of the Bibb Sheriff’s Office, Macon-Bibb Fire Department, E-911, and the Emergency Management Agency.

Trash and recycling pickup will slide one day, so Monday’s pickups will happen Tuesday, and so on through Saturday. Macon-Bibb Solid Waste will pick up yard and bulk waste Tuesday through Saturday.

Next week’s schedule may change based on the impact of Hurricane Dorian on Macon-Bibb County. If changes are made, those will be announced by email, social media, web posting, and local media.
