Macon-Bibb County Government Offices and Courts will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, Wednesday December 25, Tuesday December 31, and Wednesday, January 1, 2020. All law enforcement and emergency services will remain active.

For trash and recycling carts, Advanced Disposal Services will only be off on Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. That means if your normal pickup days are Monday and Tuesday, your schedule stays the same. The rest of the week will slide one day. Wednesday pickups will happen Thursday, and so on Through Saturday.

For bulk and yard waste pickup, Macon-Bibb County Solid Waste crews will only be off on Christmas and New Year’s Days, and work their usual four-day week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. That goes for both Christmas Week, and New Year’s Week.
