For the first time, Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and The Grinch took one of our Macon-Bibb County fire trucks for a joy ride throughout our community.
District 2 Commissioner Paul Bronson, C-QUL, and the Melanated Community Simulation Project came up with the idea to have Santa Claus ride through different neighborhoods for children who may not have had a chance to visit him.
“Inclusion is very important,” said Commissioner Bronson. “There are no words to describe the light on the children’s faces when the fire truck pulled into their neighborhoods. Thank you to everyone that poured into the vision and made this happen..”
