It’s the season of giving, and our staff is working to make two teenagers’ Christmas very special. This year, the Finance Department, Procurement Department, Attorney’s Office, and Grants Office are teaming up to adopt two teenagers from the Methodist Home for Children and Youth for the holidays.

“We wanted to see how we could make a difference. One of our employees, Donna Smith, came up with the idea to adopt a child from the Methodist Home, so we decided to adopt two,” said Karen Isaac, Accountant Associate.

They were given two wish lists from a 16-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy. Their lists included clothes, shoes, electronics, and sports balls.

“Everyone is excited,” said Isaac. “We all had a lot of fun shopping for them and can’t wait to see the looks on their faces.”

The departments are collecting items until December 15 and will deliver the gifts on December 17.
