At the Macon-Bibb County Commission Meeting on January 15, 2019, Pastor Paul Kelley from Greater Little Rock Baptist Church led the invocation. 4H students Zy’Keria Bronner and DJ Grice delivered the Pledge of Allegiance. Thank you to all of them for taking part in our meeting!

Commissioner Al Tillman was chosen to serve another year in the position of Mayor Pro Tem. He’ll lead meetings when Mayor Robert Reichert is out, and perform other mayoral duties in this leadership role.

Commissioners approved a budget amendment to match contract changes approved last year relating to collection services and billing.
The board approved Macon-Bibb taking part in the Urban Investment Community Incentive Program through the Macon Bibb County Enhancement Authority.
Commissioners approved an agreement with Middle Georgia Outdoor Lighting to install Musco Lighting equipment at Freedom Park. This project is paid for with voter-approved SPLOST funds.
The board approved appointing Josh Rogers to the Macon-Bibb Planning and Zoning Commission.
The board approved a slate of people to serve on the Pension Trustee Board for the Macon-Bibb County Pension Plan. You can see the full list of those included by clicking here.
