This week, Mayor Lester Miller presented a group of retired educators with a proclamation to name November 7, 2021 as Retired Educators Day. 

There are more than 135,000 retired educators in Georgia and 31,000 of those are members of the Georgia Retired Educators Association. This group of retired educators donates thousands of hours of volunteer service and continue to work to better society.
