October is National Arts and Humanities Month, which recognizes the importance of culture in America. This month celebrates access to the arts at local, state, and national levels. It also encourages people, organizations, and communities to participate in the arts, and raises public awareness about the role the arts and humanities play in our communities.

This week, Mayor Lester Miller presented a proclamation to members in our arts community. You can read the full proclamation here.
