On Friday, June 8, the Office of Public Affairs will relaunch The Hub, Macon-Bibb County’s weekly e-newsletter. The new design will improve people’s ability to get the included information and expand its reach. (Some email providers were unable to access the previous design, so this should allow more people to see and read all of the content.)

The Hub serves as a way to collect all recent stories and announcements in one place and send them directly to people; those individual stories are also posted on our website and social media pages. In recent weeks, we’ve included important information about budget decisions, an announcement of a new industry coming to the airport, employee recognitions, voting information, and more.

They can also follow Macon-Bibb County and several of its departments on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. (A list of those pages will be included in the relaunch.)

We will continue – through The Hub, local media, public meetings, our website, and social media – to keep you updated on major announcements, upcoming events, live video streams, Commission decisions, opportunities to share your opinions, efforts by our departments to improve our community and meet your needs, and the work of our partners.
