Another roundabout coming to Macon-Bibb County

A busy intersection on Riverside Drive is getting a roundabout to help with traffic flow. The Macon-Bibb Commission approved an agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation to install the roundabout at the intersection of Riverside Drive, Bass Road, and Arkwright Road. This will be the county’s third roundabout, with the first two located at the intersection of College and Oglethorpe Streets and intersection of Thomaston, Lower Thomaston, and Lamar Roads.
