Fuel Supply
The Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Department supplies fuel for the entire Macon-Bibb County fleet. The fleet is powered by 100% alternative fuel or fuel blend {B20, E10, Propane, Compressed Natural Gas [CNG], Electric, Diesel and Gasoline} facilitated by three fueling stations. These fuel facilities are conveniently located at 1122 Seventh Street, 505 Tenth Street and the Macon Municipal Airport (Lot 682 Eric Drive) operating 24 hours a day – seven days a week.
Interesting Fact:
The Vehicle Maintenance department is the only Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) provider for Macon-Bibb owned vehicles.
