The Facilities Management Department provides a wide range of services within the Macon-Bibb County Government and consists of fifty-four (54) full-time employees in the following six functions:

• Administration
• Custodial
• HVAC-Plumbing
• Electrical
• General Maintenance
• Traffic Maintenance Operations (Signals & Signs)

Vision Statement

To provide excellent, fiscally sound, ethically responsible maintenance service for departments in all facilities and properties of Macon-Bibb County and for the citizens of Macon-Bibb County while constantly striving to achieve a higher level of excellence through innovative techniques and tried and true methods of performing maintenance to ensure efficiency, productivity, and professionalism within a safe work environment.

Facilities Management strives to promote and provide the ultimate utilization of resources available, both human and financial, to fulfill and exceed our maintenance responsibilities and obligations while remaining a financially fiscally sound department.  We are committed to providing Macon-Bibb Government as well as the community with high-quality services while creating a cost-efficient, safe, and productive work environment.
