Christmas Parade returns December 18

by | Dec 2, 2022 | News

A favorite Macon-Bibb event is back again this year! The Christmas Parade will be on Sunday, December 18, at 4:00 p.m. People are invited to line the streets of the route, which will run from Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. to First Street along Cherry Street and then back down Mulberry Street.

“We’re thrilled to host this holiday tradition that’s beloved by so many people,” says Urban Development Authority (UDA) Executive Director and Director of Planning and Public Spaces Alex Morrison. “It’s a great way to showcase the talent and unique people who make up our vibrant community. It’s also a great way to ring in the holidays and see Santa!”

If you are unable to attend, the entire event will also be broadcast live on WGXA.
