A major overhaul is coming to the Rosa Jackson Recreation Center in East Macon-Bibb. At a groundbreaking in January, details of what’s in store for this park were revealed. People in the Fort Hill neighborhood can look forward to a new gym ready for basketball and volleyball, updated bathrooms, a brand new building, two exercise rooms, a welcome center, a computer lab- and that’s just the inside. Outside, there will be new courts, a new pavilion, playground- and most exciting: a splash pad for kids of all ages.
